Perugia

Perugia the Umbrian capital it covers over two thirds of the Region its has many castles , Fortresses and Palaces the landscape is on the Tiber Valley and umbra which is covered by the hills and east there are the Mountains and mich of the area is also covered by woodland it's a natural reserve. The villages that engage the historical and Artistic  story and is also home to the largest lake in the center of Italy Lake Trasimeno which also has three islands called Polvese . Maggiore and Minore.

Perugia and province offers a calm atmosphere due the colors of the countryside the woodland and the Mountains that during winter month are covered by snow, Its is also has the important Franciscan Path of Peace which links Assisi to the town of Gubbio. This is the path that Saint Francis took many times when he left all his worldly wealth and renounced his father wealth.

The Attractions that can be enjoyed are the Piazza Matteotti, and during the ancient times was called  Sopramuro (translated above the walls), The university Vecchia built in the 15th Century and important squares like Piazza November and the National Gallery of Umbria.
