The tower began its construction in August in the year 1173 AD and the very infamous tilt which was discovered in 1178 AD, did not stop the construction in fact the architects decided to continue with the project regardless
It is considered that the architects engineered the tower to incline from the start that it was not an error of measurements but done on purpose, whatever the reason or mistake or not it is considered a masterpiece.
Piazza Dei Miracoli ( Field of Miracles ) which is associated with D'Annunzio. it is a large Green space which allows the perfect stage and setting for the Baptistery and Tower to show of their grandeur with this as the setting piece .
Terme Romane are a small archaeological site which is also considered to have been the baths of Nero.
Palazzo Medici a law house today, the building was constructed in the 13th Century and was restored in the 17th Century to its Neogothic style.
