Narni In ancient times was called Narnia it is located in the province of Terni the southern part of Umbria region , Narni was the connecting point between Rome to the Adriatic Sea and was very Important for the growth of the Roman Empire. Through Narni flows the River Nera which helped the navigation in Ancient times to reach Rome. In the year 23Bc the bridge of Augustus was built by the great Emperor Augustus, which crosses over the River Nera . Narni later on in time was also known for its Race of the rings . Also in Narni there is a hidden world below and the underground part has the footsteps of the Romans the LongoBards and the Benedictines and the Dominicans. Also CS Lewis name the Chronicles of Narnia came from here it is believed he came across the name in a encyclopedia.
