Altamura is located just south west of the city of Bari just on the border of the province of Matera. some of Altamura main attractions and landmarks is the Romanesque cathedral, but there is much more to see and discover as the story of Altamura early centuries is not widely reported and very few findings. 
There have been many legends about the town and its surroundings. 
And the bread of Altamura people  come from all over the region to buy  their bread, the story of what this country Italy is all about tradition.
