we have been to Rome many times, we decided on this tour suggested by josephine at limousine italy was fantastic Alex showed us up to the seven hills of Rome and a striking experience. The views we figured out would be amazing but much more ...and also how and why Rome was built right where we were standing ! We did this tour on Friday even though it was really cold it was worth every penny spent ..... thanks to Alex josephine well done

Seven hills tour of Rome here is a chance to get to see 7 areas of Rome where legend has it Rome was established. It is said Romulus founded Rome here and that it was surrounded by 7 settlements occupied by small groups , they joined together and Rome was established. With your driver first stop is the Palatine Hill which dates back to 1000BC long before colosseum and the Roman Furom. Palatine hill is the archaeological site of the 7 Hills of Rome. Next stop is the Capitoline hill which now days is home to the Italian Goverment. Also Michelangelo was commissioned to design the spaces and you can find some wonderful architectural work. Third stop is Quirinal Hill this is also the home to the head of state of Italy , and has one of the most magnificent views of Rome.Next is the Viminal which is home to the opera house and the Viminal palace, then we will drive onto the Esquiline hills which finds itself just behind the colosseum. Also where emperor Nero built his Golden house, other highlights is the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Following is the Caelian hills where you can visit the baths of Caracalla and the Saint Giovanne and Poalo. Then onto Aventine hills. This day trip from the port of Civitavecchia to the seven hills of Rome is one of our new shore trips for 2017
