See pompeii from Rome city...( arriving via the fast train to naples) how can I do this?... its easy and takes no time of your stay the best way and most cost effective way is to visit the archaeolgical site of Pompeii from Rome by taking the train from Rome Termini station the ideal train is the 9601 which leaves at 0750am and arrives into naples by 0845am . Upon arrival into Naples station Your private driver will meet you at 0845am on the arrival platform holding a placard for identification and drive directly to pompeii . Once in Pompeii one can book a guide that will take you through the Site of Pompeii for 2 hrs,after your visit of Pompeii your private limo driver will take you directly back to Naples station to catch the 1330 train back to Rome ( you will be back into Rome by 1430) approx .
